I recently received this HTIB (home theater in a box) system and stayed up till 7 in the morning setting it up. I'm not an "audiophile" but from a music lover, i can say that this system is fantastic! I have not experienced any issues, would definitely recommend this product as the best bang for you buck in this price range. The receiver is solid, so if you want to upgrade the speakers in the future its not a problem. My only desire is for it to take video feed from any input and output it via HDMI. From my research, this is usually only available on much more expensive models. Playing COD MW2 on XBOX, i am totally immersed in the game, and can hear if someone tries to sneak up on me. Watched transporter and was immersed in beautiful surround sound. I don't have direct tv or PS3, but have not experienced any issues with the back surround channels being switched on PCM mode, although I did switch to pCM on my DVD player and the sound played through the proper channels. Totally in love with this system, would recommend to anyone hands down!
